Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

Financing any degree program requires considerable planning and budgeting. Aside from tuition students should also budget for books and supplies which runs anywhere between $200 to $1,000, depending on the program.

All major financial institutions and banks of most countries have loan programs and/or lines of credit available to NUMSS (USA) students with good credits. Please contact your bank for details such as eligibility requirements, interest rates and applications.

Currently we do not offer any scholarships, however we are in the process of establishing a number of scholarships.  NUMSS 1

NUMSS (USA) graduates who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and who practice in Canada are eligible for a number of start up loans and grants, including up to $60,000 in non-payable grant offered under the Start Smart See Fund program of the Ontario Centers of Excellence (OCE), up to $15,000 in business expansion loan offered under the Futurpreneur Canada program of the Canadian government and up to $50,000 in loan by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).

Our Canadian students are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in Tuition, Education, and Textbook tax credits from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The tax form will be issued by NUMSS (USA) and given to students in February of each year upon request.

Your tuition and other expenses incurred to earn a degree for purpose of creating income, or increasing your income is considered a business tax expense by the tax authorities of many countries and as such you can use them to reduce your business income tax if you own a business while studying at NUMSS (USA).
