Advisor to the Minister of Health in Azerbaijan is a NUMSS PhD Graduate!

Osteopathic manual practitioner, Dr Parvin Akberov, a graduate of the PhD in Osteopathic Clinical Rehabilitation program of the National University of Medical Sciences made history in 2022 when he was chosen as the Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation of the country of Azerbaijan. He was the first osteopathic manual practitioner to hold this position.
Now, one more time he created history by being promoted to the prestigious post of the Special Advisor to the Minister of Health in Azerbaijan.

NUMSS staff and faculty wish to congratulate Dr Akberov on this historic achievement. He made us and all osteopathic manual practitioners so proud.
