Thank you for your interest in the NUMSS (USA) postgraduate post professional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) transitional degree program. We offer the tDPT program through 100% online (tuition $4,250 per semester). The online program is available to all physiotherapists & physical therapists who meet the prerequisites, regardless of their nationalities. There are optional on-site week-long (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, 5 days per week) practical technique classes in Panama City, and Madrid (Spain) available to online students free of charge (one week per semester). Currently, the campus based tDPT program is available only in Mumbai (India) to those physiotherapists who are members of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
The online video lecture classes are available on-demand to be watched once you are issued a password and user ID. They can be paused, and viewed as often as needed. You need high speed internet to be able to watch the video lectures online. You will also receive an external hard drive that includes all the video lectures for this program that enables you to view the video lectures offline.
NUMSS (USA) post professional DPT students from all countries are eligible to join the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as international members for annual membership fee of $50. Canadian NUMSS (USA) students are eligible to receive tuition and textbooks tax credit from the Canadian Revenue Agency as NUMSS (USA) is accepted as a foreign university by the Canadian government.

Admission Prerequisites
The postgraduate post professional transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (tDPT) program is open only to physiotherapists and physical therapists. Those with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy or physical therapy can complete the program in two years. Those with a master’s degree or equivalent in physiotherapy or physical therapy can complete the program in 1 year. Applicants with PHD in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy may receive advanced credits toward this program. The DPT program can be taken as a dual or triple degree program with any of other programs offered by NUMSS (USA).
