Brain improvement through peptide therapy

I teach peptide therapy and biologicals in the online Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at National University of Medical Sciences (USA). I have been using peptides for years, investing heavily in optimizing my own health.

One of my main goals is to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Alongside peptides, I follow long-term habits such as one meal a day, regular exercise, organic nutrition, and targeted supplementation to support brain health.

Some peptides act directly on the brain, while others support it indirectly. Combining them effectively is a clinical art, allowing for synergistic benefits.

Semax is one of the key peptides that works directly on the brain. It is derived from a fragment of Adrenocorticotropic hormone and was developed in Russia for its neurological effects. Its main actions include:
-Increasing Brain-derived neurotrophic factor to support neuron growth and repair
-Enhancing neurotransmitters like Dopamine and serotonin for better mood and focus
-Improving cerebral blood flow
-Reducing inflammation and oxidative stress in brain

Research suggests several potential benefits:
-Improved focus, memory, and learning
-Neuroprotection and support in brain injury recovery
-Mild anti-anxiety and mood-enhancing effects
-Support in stroke recovery (in clinical use in Russia)
-Increased mental stamina without the crash of stimulants

Semax is commonly used as a nasal spray, though injectable forms are also used. Lower doses are generally preferred for safety and tolerability.

With consistent use, many report enhanced focus and mental clarity. For me, it supports both long-term brain health and the ability to sustain deep focus for extended periods.

Have a blessed day.
