New Era of Global Medical Collaboration Begins

I was truly honored to welcome Dr. Mani Alagar, President of Bay University School of Medicine in Aruba (Netherlands), who flew to Toronto yesterday for a highly productive meeting. Over the course of nearly four hours, we had an engaging and insightful discussion, discovering a strong alignment in our shared vision for delivering innovative and distinctive health education to students worldwide.

Bay University School of Medicine is recognized by the World Health Organization and its MD program is accepted in Canada, the United States, Europe, and other regions. The university maintains partnerships with 25 teaching hospitals across the U.S., providing clinical internship opportunities for up to 700 students annually.

The institution currently offers a unique DO to MD bridge program exclusively for graduates of the National University of Medical Sciences – Spain, enabling them to earn a medical doctorate in under two years. Additionally, a DO/MD dual degree program is available.

Stay tuned—more exciting announcements are on the way!
